Zirconium is a rare ore and its crystal is formed from a tetragonal prism which is end to tetragonal pyramid.
The color of ore: brown, red, yellow, green, blue, black and colorless.
Luster: diamond
Transparency: semi-transparent, transparent.
Hardness: 7.5 in mouse measure.
Associated ores: Albeit, bonite, garnet, zenotime, and monazite.

Other feature of this ore is that sometime it is along with more black crystal or fluorescence due to impurity of radioactive earth trace elements. Refractive officious of this ore is 1.92-2.02.
Zircon zrsio sub>4 is found in Australia, Brazil, India, Russian, and United States. Zircon is extracted as colorless powder or as a gray crystal material. Zirconium and hafnium exist in 50t to 70 ratios in zircon and their separation is very difficult.
